As the only basketball camp Central Illinois without a camp fee, our popularity has grown dramatically from 25 children our first year, to 55 children in the summer of 2017. Although free to the children, the camp requires support to cover costs, including:

Fully Equipped Back Pack: $30.00

Printed Camp T-shirt: $7.00

Medallion: $3.00

Camp Banquet & Cook Out: $10.00

Certificate: $2.00

Gatorade & Bottled Water: $5.00

Total cost per Child: $57.00

The current enrollment obligates us for over $1,200.00 in free back-packs alone. Approximately $3,500.00 has to be raised to fund each year’s session. Camp coaches, staff, and leadership participate as volunteers.

In addition to our annual session, we have an on-going fund raising campaign to build our own Recreation and Learning Center. The estimated cost for the shell is approximately $40,000.00. The site has already been acquired and we hope to break ground soon with God’s Help.

In addition to the annual summer camp, the center's mission will be to provide around the year after school and week end reading and tutoring programs. Special Classes and seminars in budgeting, job placement preparation, home economics, financial success planning, public image training and computer basics are among other programs envisioned.
